Our 2nd annual Charity dance
This affair marked the second year anniversary of the World of Hope Charity Dance. This project was started by Dr. Cora Gregorio and her late husband, Bernie Gregorio, with help from volunteers, to assist the poor, especially children, in the Philippines through the numerous advocacies of Father Semana. We thank all the attendees for their generosity in supporting this noble cause.
DJ Larry from San Francisco played music that catered to all tastes. On a scale of 10, DJ Larry broke the scale, scoring 12, the dancers clamoring for his return. Yes, DJ Larry is that good!
A light snack of empanadas, sandwiches, egg rolls, and various sweets was served.
Remember, WOH Charity dance is held every second Saturday of each month at Ballroom Addiction, easily the best dance floor in the whole of Las Vegas.
You may share any number of photos as pleases you.

"There is hunger for ordinary bread, and there is hunger for love, for kindness, for thoughtfulness, and this is the great poverty that makes people suffer so much." Mother Teresa
ReplyDeleteMother Teresa saw and understood through personal experience why the Poor will always be Poor. Oftentimes, people do not care what is going on in the world. As long as they are comfortable, eating several meals a day, affording the luxuries they crave for, they go on with their lives.
At the World of Hope, Fil-Am, Inc., we try to address Mother Teresa's message with our "dance for a cause" every second Saturday of the month. Our commitment to this fundraising event is one built with Love to give Hope, with Kindness to alleviate Hardship, and with Thoughtfulness to bring Happiness.
